Here you will find personal recollections and photographs of Ray Cooley's boyhood in Chinook, Alberta, Canada during the Great Depression of the 1930's.
The stories include reminiscences of pranks at school, Ray's first gun, Jolly Time popcorn, Philco radios, coal furnaces, gophers, hoboes, the Canadian National Railway, outdoor and indoor toilets, country schools, spring on the prairie and many other memories.
